Funeral services for Johnny Winburn, 84, of Lucknow will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 6, 2019 in the Chapel of Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home. The Rev. Michael Bowman and the Rev. Keith Allison will officiate with burial in Gum Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Winburn entered into rest on Thursday, January 3, 2019. Born in Kershaw Co., SC, he was a son of the late Sam and Anna Harrell Winburn. He was a member of Green Acres Assembly of God in Sumter, SC. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Ruby Shaw Winburn of Lucknow, SC; sons, Simon (Sherrie) Winburn of Lucknow, SC, Chris (Kim) Winburn of Lucknow, SC; grandchildren, Christopher Privette, Ben Winburn, Kelsey Benton, Kyle Winburn, Kaley Winburn; brother, James Allen Winburn; sister, Betty Turner. He was preceded in death by a son, Ben Winburn; brothers, Billy Winburn, Tommy Winburn; sisters, Thelma West, Dorothy Watkins, Martha Blackwell, Margaret Atkinson.
